You might like to know that there are some things you can do to prolong the effects of your wax, as well as minimizing any negative after-effects. The day before your treatment, we recommend that you exfoliate with a gentle scrub to get rid of any dead skin, which may block pores after the wax and cause ingrown hairs. For 24-48 hours after your wax, your skin may be red and sensitive to touch. You should probably avoid swimming in chlorinated pools or using highly perfumed toiletries during this time, as it may cause discomfort.
